Meet Anthony J. Wiench, Broker

I grew up near Ann Arbor, Michigan, and was brought up on a farm outside of town. I worked with my dad in the winters fixing up and flipping homes while in high school. I learned at an early age the value of hard work and that a man is only as good as his word. These key lessons became values that I’ve maintained throughout my life, and they continue to guide my work as a real estate broker.

After I graduated from the University of Michigan, with a degree in business and finance, I moved to California. It was the number one real estate market in the USA at the time. I’ve lived in California for over 40 years. Due to 50 years of buying and selling homes, I have a unique perspective about our area and its real estate market. This allows me to best market homes that I’m selling, as well as knowing what to spend money on to get the best price for your home.

We are currently in a hot real estate market due to the high demand caused by Silicon Valley engineers wanting to buy a home because they no longer commute to the office and can now work from home. It makes logical, financial sense for a seller to spend as little money as possible in commissions to sell his home—especially in this hot real estate market where your home will practically sell itself in a short period of time.

Outside of work, I enjoy the mountains, the ocean, blue water sailing, bicycle riding, swimming, weightlifting, reading and researching, photography, philosophy, meditation, and yoga. I also have two adult daughters—Camilla and Kathryn, and my first grandson Julian. I live with a pair of standard poodles, Molly and Charlie.
