My Real Estate Expertise
With five decades of experience in buying and selling homes for both clients and myself, I offer a unique perspective on the real estate market. My education in Accounting and Marketing with extensive practical experience that equips me with the skills to effectively promote and sell your home at the highest possible price. In today’s competitive environment, it is crucial for sellers to demand that brokers minimize high commission expenses due to their very expensive overhead.

Thanks to platforms like Zillow, Redfin, Realtor.com, and other services that provide comprehensive data on homes nationwide. The size of a real estate firm have become a liability, particularly as inflation drives up overhead costs. No realtor has a unique “edge” or a secret list of eager buyers ready to purchase your home. The power of the internet and the latest ethical rules in California ensure all Realtors provide virtually the exact same services. Retail brokers primary goal is often to convince you to pay higher commissions to cover their overhead.
Due to lower overhead, I can offer competitive commission rates by leveraging the economic principle called "Economy of Scale. This means I can charge less in commissions while maintaining the same income by keeping my overhead low which is designed to ultimately benefiting home sellers by reducing their commission costs.
Early Life and Values
I grew up near Ann Arbor, Michigan, on a farm just outside of town. In high school, I worked with my dad during the winters, fixing up and flipping homes. After graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in Accounting and Marketing, I moved to California, drawn by its booming real estate market. Over the past 26 years, I have gained extensive experience in California, participating in over 650 real estate transactions and developing a deep understanding of the residential real estate market and Bay Area dynamics.
My background in Accounting and Marketing, combined with hands-on experience in home renovation and sales, has taught me the value of hard work and integrity in business. I am committed to doing what I say I will do and never making promises I can’t keep. Integrity is the most important quality a business person can have, and this principle has driven my success in the real estate market for the past 40 years.
Personal Interests
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time in nature, whether in the mountains or sailing on blue waters. Other activities I cherish include

I also treasure time with my family, including my two adult daughters, Camilla and Kathryn, and my grandsons, Julian and Marcus. At home, I'm kept on my toes by my two standard poodles, Molly and Charlie, who often demand a dog treat before letting me in the house.
